Zhezhi is a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Resonator in Wuthering Waves who wields a Rectifier-type weapon with the Element type being Glacio. Her character kit is focused around Basic Attacks and, of course, Forte Circuit to unleash massive Glacio DMG, making her great for teams looking for DPS or Sub DPS.

In this pre-release guide, I will be explaining Zhezhi's character kit while talking about how to play her in Wuthering Waves. And—I'll also be going over her best weapons, Echoes, Echo Loadouts, stat priority, upgrade priority, and team comps. So keep reading!

Wuthering Waves Zhezhi Best Build Explained

Zhezhi's best build in Wuthering Waves focuses on maintaining a decent ratio between CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG% while trying to increase the Basic ATK DMG as much as possible, as her abilities heavily rely on it.

Basic Attack And Afflatus Gain

Zhezhi's Basic Attack, Dimming Brush, deals Glacio damage and has the Basic, Heavy, Mid-Air, and Dodge Counter variants. You will be using it most of the time to gain a special status stack called Afflatus.

Zhezhi can hold up to 90 Afflatus, which she gains by performing her Basic Attack and through the Intro Skill, Brilliance in a Brush.

Spiritual Sketches And How To Summon Them

Now that you know about Afflatus, the main gameplay mechanic you will use to deal damage using Zhezhi is the Spiritual Sketch. That said, there are three Spiritual Sketches associated with Zhezhi's skills: Spiritual Sketch: Left, Spiritual Sketch: Middle, and Spiritual Sketch: Right. Upto one of each type can be on the battlefield for 15 seconds.

That being out of the way, you might be wondering how to summon these Spiritual Sketches. Well! Use Zhezhi's Resonance Skill, Depiction, whenever your Afflatus is 60 or more. Doing so will simultaneously summon Spiritual Sketch: Left and Spiritual Sketch: Right.

Summoning Spiritual Sketch: Middle

On the other hand, if you want to summon Spiritual Sketch: Middle, you must use Zhezhi's Forte Circuit skill, Ink and Wash's Heavy Attack: Composition when your Afflatus is 30 or more. You can perform it by using any of the three methods:

• Holding the Basic Attack button shortly after Basic Attack Stage 3
• Press the Basic Attack button shortly after casting Resonance Skill
• Hold the Basic Attack button while in mid-air

You will be using these Spirit Sketches to utilize Zhezhi's Forte Circuit better to deal massive damage using two unique versions of Zhezhi's Resonance Skills, Resonance Skill: Stroke of Genius and Resonance Skill: Stroke of Maestro.

Resonance Skill: Stroke of Genius

When a Spiritual Sketch is nearby, the Resonance Skill is replaced with Stroke of Genius. When it is cast, Zhezhi will:

• Blink to the location of the Spiritual Sketch and remove it, then summon a crane spirit to attack the target, dealing Glacio DMG, considered as Basic Attack DMG.
• Gain 1 "Painter's Delight" stack lasting for 8s and stacking up to 2 times.

Resonance Skill: Stroke of Maestro

When a Spiritual Sketch is nearby, and there are two stacks of "Painter's Delight," The Resonance Skill is replaced with Stroke of Maestro. When it is cast, Zhezhi will:

• Blink to the location of the Spiritual Sketch and remove it, then summon a crane spirit to attack the target, dealing greater Glacio DMG, considered as Basic Attack DMG, and additionally increasing the Basic Attack DMG Multiplier by 18% for 22s.

How To Play Zhezhi In Wuthering Waves

The best way I can think of as of now to play Zhezhi in Wuthering Waves is by switching to her to gain Afflatus and then using her regular attacks until your Afflatus is 60 or more.

You can add Echo Skills in between or even perform Resonance Skill, though the main goal is to summon the Spirit Sketches. You must use her Resonance Skill when Afflatus is 60 or more or perform Basic Attack right after using Resonance Skill, granted Afflatus is 30 or more, and lastly, by holding the Basic Attack at Stage 3.

After that, you must use Zhezhi's Resonance Skill to teleport to the selected Spirit Sketch and attack to gain a stack of Painter's Delight while dealing massive damage. Remember that you must teleport two times to gain the two stacks of Painter's Delight for Resonance Skill: Stroke of Maestro. Once you perform it, you can use the Resonance Liberation or use it as you like.

To put it in more simpler terms, here's how you must use Zhezhi:

• Perform Basic Attack combo - Gained 30 Afflatus
• Use Resonance Skill and press the Basic Attack button - Summoned Spiritual Sketch: Middle
• Perform Basic Attack combo - 2 times [You can add Resonance Liberation or Echo Skill in between if you want]
• Use Resonance Skill - Summoned Spiritual Sketch: Left and Right
• Select and teleport to Sketch Spirits by pressing the Resonance Skill button - This must be done two times to gain two stacks of Painter's Delight
• Use the Resonance Skill on the final Sketch Spirit to perform Resonance Skill: Stroke of Maestro
• Use Resonance Liberation
• Repeat

Wuthering Waves Zhezhi's Best Weapon

The best weapon for Zhezhi is going to be her signature Rectifier, Rime-Draped Sprouts, a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ weapon with CRIT DMG% as its Sub Stats.

Yinlin's Stringmaster would also be a great fit for Zhezhi, and if you don't have it but are okay spending on the battle pass, the Augment is also a great choice.

For free-to-play players, Jinzhou Keeper and Rectifier of Night can also do the job. However, I recommend using the Augment at least.

Augment	ATK: 412 CRIT Rate: 20.2%	When Resonance Liberation is released, increases the caster's ATK by 15%, lasting for 15s.
Jinzhou Keeper	ATK: 387 ATK%: 36.4%	When Intro Skill is released, it increases the caster's ATK by 8% and HP by 10%, lasting for 15s.
Rectifier of Night	ATK: 325 ATK%: 24.3%	When Intro Skill is released, increases ATK by 8%, lasting for 10s.

Wuthering Waves Zhezhi's Best Echoes & Echo Loadout

The best Echo Set for Zhezhi is the Freezing Frost set that massively boosts her Glacio DMG. You can also Echo Sets like Lingering Tunes or combine Lingering Tunes and Moonlit Clouds though I wouldn't recommend it over the Freezing Frost set.

Freezing Frost Set Bonus

• 2 Set: Glacio DMG increases by 10%.
• 5 Set: Upon using Basic Attack or Heavy Attack, Glacio DMG increases by 10%, stacking up to three times, lasting for 15 seconds.

Echo Loadout

When it comes to Echo Loadout, you can go for 4, 3, 3, 1, 1, as it is the most optimal combination, ensuring the right balance between CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, and other attributes.
